This photo was taken from Little Bay in last summer. The reason why i chose this photo is it the interaction between the two different blue color of the ocean and the sky creates an harmonic scene and the two different color fit so well at the waterline where the two color touch .
B: an image of a great piece of architecture
The National Stadium in Beijing, the main stadium for the 200 Olymic Games, is called the "bird's nest" because of its innovative grid formation. The twig-like structural elements and the bowl-shaped roof are the masterpiece of the project. The large skeleton of the the project weights 42,000 tons, with the roof and the hanging parts around it accounting for 11,200 tons. To bear such a heavy load, 72 supporting structure were installed and distributed in different points to support the massive load.
